Congratulations to all of our tournament winners and thanks to all who participated! We had 386 tournament entries and awarded $109,000—a record turnout and payout.

We received immediate feedback from several participants and we want you to know that we’re listening. Many of you experienced long delays in our registration process. After hearing what you had to say, we are confident that a few changes will go a long way to remedy that for future tournaments—expect to see pre-registration and a more automated check in process with less paperwork.

On the other hand, we were very pleased to hear that so many of you enjoyed the great food prepared by our award winning culinary team and presented by our banquets department—along with those refreshing cocktails.

We always value your input, so tell us. What did you think about the St. Patty's Day Slot Tournament? What did you enjoy? What would you change? We want to know!

We’re already planning our next tournament series and based on the feedback you provided, we expect that you will be very pleased!

Thanks again.

This tournament was a first for my mom and I.  I thought it went smoothly and was overall very enjoyable.  I hope to participate again next year.

There are a couple ways to improve the process, I think.  First of all, registration / bonus round felt disorganized, and the wait was over an hour to get registered.  I think if you would perhaps have certain time blocks for last names (ie. A-F 5-530) there would have been a lot less waiting around.  That said, however, I felt very well taken care of with the cocktail and food service while we waited.  We made a lot of friends while waiting around!

One other problem I thought was how the qualifying scores were reported.  We were told that the announcement would be made at the myChoice center on the screens at 415 PM.  It wasn't until 440 that a few reps came with the lists to talk to everyone.  I think an announcement of the minimum qualifying score would have made the crowd more manageable, and then the qualifying guests should have been posted on perhaps a few walls / TVs in order to expedite the process.

Also, I would have liked to have seen the original enrollment (350) maintained.  It was a little surprising to me that even though the enrollment was upped to 400, the number of final round qualifiers was not increased from 35 to 40 (even though the purse was increased).

The perks that came with the tournament (room, coupons) were more than adequate and really contributed to us having a great stay.

Looking forward to visiting soon,
r

I also thought it was well-run and the registration line, although long, was well hosted.  The drinks and snacks offered while in long was a nice touch.

The major area of disapproval for me was the over-registration of the tournament.  I bought in assuming that with 350 entries and 35 finalists, I had a one in ten change of being in the money.  However, there were 400 entries but still only 35 finalists.  The odds were lower and this was bad form.
