You have had in the past there at the buffet a sort of peanut brittle with a light brittle filled with nuts that was very thin and I think it might have even had cashews in it.. but it was absolutely delicious! It was very, very thin and we all loved it but you stopped having it there. Also, since this area was settled by French settlers, there used to be a French Bakery here and there were a few others that served a chocolate eclair that had a chocolate pudding in the middle of it and it was absolutely delicious but since the local bakeries all closed down several years ago we have to go to Houston or Baton Rouge to find these now. If you could get chocolate eclairs with a CHOCOLATE filling... which is typical of French pastries that would be really terrific. Another thing that would be terrific for the summer would be a sherbet machine to serve orange sherbet. It's so cool and light and refreshing during the summertime. Also, we have had locally in the past here in bakeries a chocolate meringue pie but it's so hard to find them now. Everyone seems to want to put that whipped topping on it which just isn't the same. I'd love to see you consider adding some of these favorites of locals to the buffet. Thank you. We did have another casino in the past here that had a Senior Citizens Day every week where Seniors could get a discounted buffet. It would be nice to see you consider this option for the seniors. I've heard a lot of seniors in the casino and in the buffet line and in the buffet eating discussing that and missing it. We always made sure we planned to spend that day at the casino each week because of the discounted meal.

Desserts always has friendly staff and a good variety of gelato flavors. I didn't realize until this trip that I could get hot coffee to tea there as well. We often would get a coffee from the other place then walk over to Desserts for a gresh pastry to accompany it.
